An easy hike to a small pristine lake which flows out to Lake Tahoe. Along the way you’ll pass over a waterfall and have wonderful views of the rocky peaks surrounding this small valley. When I hiked this trail, a recent snowstorm led to a winter wonderland along the trail. Parking area gets crowded.
A snow covered bridge extends over a small creek, where pools of water are exposed from the surrounding deep snow. Out of frame under the bridge a waterfall drops down.
