Hello! As you might have seen on the news, delivery workers across the country are planning to strike on the 31st of December for better work conditions and a cease to the exploitative, dangerous, and honestly unnecessary 10 minute delivery model. They have requested consumers to avoid using 10 minute delivery apps on NYE. Hence, I am supporting an online consumer movement called #PauseIt, to show them our solidarity!
The 10 minute delivery model is borderline cruel for delivery partners yet we’ve begun treating it as a necessity. Spending one day without it is the least we can do. Even the smallest amount on pressure on corporates might make a difference.
