    TikTok trends have already made music mostly irrelevant if it can’t be blasted out in a 5 second clip, so I say stalin-nyet to further shortening songs.

      It pisses me off when a song has a killer 10 second hook that gets popular on TikTok and then the full song just completely lacks dynamics or buildup. Unholy by Sam Smith was a big one, even though Sam Smith isn’t a TikTok musician

        I outright refuse to even try full songs that get blasted out of TikTok in 10 second hooks anymore. I’ve been disappointed too many times already.
