They’re so good if cooked well. Roasted with garlic and olive oil
I made the mistake of doing this at a family supper (they normally steamed them), and ended up on sprouts cooking duty for the rest of my foreseeable future lol.
Balsamic vinegar is an amazing addition as well.
I never minded them as a kid but they weren’t the best. The newer varities are quite nice. Love them roasted or broiled!
We’ve been deep-frying them with pumpkin seeds. Add dried cranberries, goat cheese, and a vinaigrette… I am drooling just typing this
Goat cheese makes almost everything better!
No, I do not hate them - quite the opposite. Pliny the Elder knew what was up, BRASICA CULT FOR LIFE.
Ahh, I thought my tastebuds just got dull with age!
¿Porque no los dos?
Don’t burst my bubble now!
And it still tastes fucking awful. Yes, I’ve had them roasted, yes from great kitchens.
No, they’re not tasty.
“No, these are less shitty.”
They’re still shitty, just less.
Ah, I was wondering if my wife had an account on here. Hi honey!
Nope, still taste like farts
I’ve only ever had the modern version. Not really a fan. I suspect I would’ve preferred the more bitter variety.
