I love this city: the climate, the food, the incan ruins, transportation, how cool everyone is, so many things.

Oh and the incredibly affordable cost of living.

This is a great city, and there are still so many mountains I want to climb and lakes I want to visit that I can see myself coming back. Happily returning.

If you decide to go, feel free to message me or post here about it, I’d be happy to give you any advice I can.

I’ve got two littles. Air travel is a bit of a nightmare. Before your posts however Cusco wasn’t even on my travel destination radar.

          Gotcha, circumstances are circumstances.

Cusco was initially a no-thank-you destination for me because I don’t like guided or restrictive tourism, which is all the information I came across from other travelers: Machu Pichu, single-lane hikes, restricted ruins.

Then I found out about the elevation(3400 m), thought that would be a fun challenge, which turned out to be a non-issue, and have been blown away by the plethora of unrestricted original ruins to visit, all the natural beauty(i can’t even count the mountains, glaciers and lakes available for hikes), and all the great meals.

No rush, I’m here as a resource for the foreseeable if your circumstances allow for travel later on, and there’s always the contact page through the podcast.

          Have a good one!
