I’m actually scared for what the future of the internett will be like for us car entusiasts. What will be the insentive for people to ask for help on a dedicated forum, when you can just ask AI? How many times haven’t you had an issue with your car, then by some miracle you find a 15 year old forum post from a guy with the EXACT same issue that also has the solution? I fear this will not happen anymore and that the classic car forum sites will die out.
Don’t get me wrong, I love to use AI as a tool and there are so many benefits in using the good LLM’s for lots of things.
This just randomly popped in my head, and I just felt the need to share my concern.
What do you guys think?
