        Almost every Emperor notes a dozen different structures in Rome they repaired. Not to downplay the repairs - but generally this is more “After a hundred years, wear and tear is starting to take its toll, we had to replace a few columns for safety reasons and re-plaster most of the walls” than “We had to rebuild entire segments which had collapsed”
