Some reminders that you shouldn’t downvote a topic because they are the asshole, but vote on if the story is made up and unrealistic.
Clear (normal social) results included in that. Topics about "I stole money from an unhomed person AITA’ are boring.
If there’s a clear case of who the asshole is, I’d probably lock the post and ask if they really thought it was necessary to outsource opinions on the issue.
We don’t want to become a training ground for llm’s or somewhere to launch youtube fiction readouts.
Ideally, I’d like to see people learn that they’re a bit of an asshole and should change; or that they should learn how to stand up for themselves a bit more. This seems to be the basis of many of the conflicts people write about here.
RustyOwl seems to have gone quiet for the moment. HMU with mod stuff, I made a lemmy.world account. Mostly looking to lock AI/bait posts. The rules are good enough, I have an Australian level of “Be Civil” don’t get too stressed about calling someone a nob.
