I’m just wondering if just letting the AI create everything for you is more convenient because I’ve heard online that AI code can be unreliable at times and sometimes just not work at all. I don’t know if this thing probably can create sophisticated ahh generators or not or if it’s just an assistant/tool. What are your thoughts?
No matter how advanced any of the AI tools claim to be, they are all just prediction generators. Code for things many people have done before will be more reliable than code for a project that is novel.
In general, use it as a template or guide for real projects. Don’t ever trust it 100%. If you’re making a personal project with no worry for data integrity/accuracy, feel free to throw things at the AI and see what sticks.
Never use AI generated code for anything that handles critical data, or if you do, review every single thing it does like an intern just handed it to you on their first day.
I see the number 1 issue with AI is the confidence someone has in it. If you go in knowing you can’t trust it, it can be a great tool.
