I don’t use MJ much and because of this my tolerance is quite low compared to most people here. When I do use it I often like to get high enough where I can watch a movie and laugh through it (whether it’s funny or not)and mostly understand what’s happening.

A few nights ago I took 2.5mg and waited. Felt nothing so I took 5mg more. About an hour later I was starting to feel pretty damn high. Another hour in and I was tripping mad hard. This used to cause me anxiety cause it scared me. But this time I just rode it. Took a shower, thought I fell asleep, etarled myself when I realized I was still awake. Then lied in bed letting my thoughts go wild. It was fairly fun but I don’t like getting that high very much

Yeah I like to get about where you said you like getting to. I have over done it a few times and had a bad time for sure.

You took edibles it sounds like so there you’re problem. They can make you super baked to the point its not very fun. I did this recently and tripped balls with strong hulucinations. I would smoke if I was you, allows you to control how high you get and you can see the effects right away. If you struggle to smoke, try a bong with lots of ice or a vape

I do have a vape. I need to finish my edibles. I’ll often do 5mg and be fine. I wasn’t expecting 7.5 to fuck me up. Also got the next day I felt like shit. Like a weird hangover

I’m AuDHD, which I think is why I get affected differently. The few times I’ve actually gotten high made me just feel light headed and sluggish. Not a fan. It’s the same feeling I get when I have a particularly bad sinus infection.

Indica just makes me tired, especially hybrid edibles. I’ve taken up to 20mg, and I just get tired. No high, but nausea.

I have a Rove Sativa vape pen (Waui) that I microdose off of. Before I dropped out of grad school I would do hippie speedball (MJ and caffeine - because my psychiatrist won’t give me meds for ADHD to focus and it was the only thing that seemed to help) during finals week. Otherwise, because I mask so hard, vaping before a social function to just barely feel it helps me unmask.

I’m pretty casual. I “microdose” it, taking a hit and waiting to see how it goes. Not enough, and I do more. I try to reach a certain feeling then maintain it. I tend to panic if I green out, so I take it slow.

And I mostly smoke indica, since sativa makes me freak out.

I haven’t greened out yet. I’ve come close. I have learned to stop that panic feeling and have fun a bit. But I still don’t like getting that high

I like to taper a high throughout the day that isn’t too up there, however enough for me to feel quite medicated. 2g is usually split into 8 smokes, toked throughout the day, so I’m still functional when needed.

I live with family who are not in the best situations, health wise, so I appreciate cannabis for allowing me to do as much as I can for them. If I was too medicated it would cause issues with this, but if I’m not medicated enough I get the plethora of health issues myself that will also debilitate me. That’s why I weigh up what I roll, before I grind it up. I try to stay consistent this way, and have done this for the past few years. Works well for me.

It’s really different having a higher tolerance vs. not. If I haven’t smoked in a while I actually feel sort of apprehensive about it. It’s much nicer to be in the swing of things as doing too much isn’t comfortable at all, and that’s especially easy to do with edibles. It can be surprising how long they take to have an effect.

I eat a 5mg indica/cbd hybrid edible, then take a sizeable “quicker picker upper” hit of Sativa off the vape pen to get things going. Gives me a good, energetic high without getting the paranoia that then gradually shifts into a mellow and relaxed body high. Depending on my state of mind, the effects of the edible may be really subtle, or I may end up taking a little weed nap after about three hours. Any more Sativa, or higher edible dose, results in making it too hard to concentrate on anything fun and I don’t enjoy myself.
