My friend forces me to watch the anime and then showed me the manga. The anime feels like another souless adaptation. It lacks so much context, so many details that just make the whole thing a mess. There are scenes than are completely different in both works, if not completely missing, just beacuse the anime chose to not include inportant details.

For anyone who like the anime, read the manga. It’s so much worth it.

Honestly the same. The best part is how over the top it is, and how chuuni the mc is, but in the anime starts way to seriously.

Read the manga first, tried showing sone friends the anime, but they (kinda rightfully) just thought it was a normal isekai. Kinda disappointing, but hearing the moonlight sonata in the background while Cid does random things was great addition to the experience.

The manga does a great job showing how goofy the MC is. The adaptation seems to focus more on how OP he is rather then exploring how the MC is building a grand conspiracy theory just to look cool.
