Just that. They’re not descriptive, they’re not how people talk normally, yet after maybe ten paragraphs, it’s like the story generator defaults to everyone using broken English for speech, and that things like “Smooth. Silky. Red.” is a proper way to describe an object, or a scene. Absolutely ridiculous.
if you double click on the previous responses, you can edit the text. I usually take it and run it through something like Venice AI or something and ask it to rewrite the text in a manner that resembles the natural flow of speech. Paste the new text back in. after about 3 or 4 messages edited like this, it usually fixes itself. it seems the AI bases its speech patterns based on the previous messages.
I personally have never used the story generator but i am experiencing a similar problem in the character chat, where the ai just breaks down into unadulterated chaos. The only fix that i could see is to restart the narrative but to put what has happened so far into the lore/memory. I know that it’s not a good fix and might not even work in the story but i hope it works for you.
