    It has PLUMMETED past 35. In my 20s I’d give people the benefit of the doubt too much, try and justify their behaviour etc so I was being “fair”. Now I prioritise being fair to me, and don’t put up with shit

      Identical arc here, right down to the decision age. Now my policy online is “block early, block often” with a hair trigger and in real life, bullshit is rewarded with “I see,” followed by me turning to someone else and starting a conversation with them, ignoring the bullshitter.

    It has run out. I was all for blaming the media, the powerful etc. for constantly and deliberately misleading the public but my patience has gone and I can no longer forgive people’s wilful ignorance or refusal to think even slightly critically.

      For me it’s the opposite, I’m much more quick to confront others nowadays. That said, my bullshit tolerance did also plummet.
