#KDELinux is still in Pre-Alpha stages and it shows. Was gonna make a video about it, but I decided to honor the Dev’s request not to since it’s still way too early.

This seems to be because they can’t do delta updates yet.

System updates are huge because we ship a whole new OS image, and delta updates haven’t been implemented in Systemd yet.
I heard you can’t even have different wallpaper for different workspaces yet
You can have different wallpapers (and different widgets and all kinds of other things) per activity.

no, activities altogether. they are very slow to switch now.
@individual I wouldn’t know I don’t use workspaces I have 3 monitors
that’s cool, but hard to do with a laptop while traveling
I also have 3 monitors but also 6 virtual desktops and 5 activities :)

Mostly due to work. One activity for each on: browser, IDE/Editor, email, etc on different virtual desktops
