The translation was a bit stubborn on this one. I got different names with each translation and they all were quite different in wording.
It’s either something like:
A message from Bokucho sent before a friend’s birthday
It’s Ntoca’s birthday next week!
Or possibly something like:
Messages from a friend start coming in as their birthday approaches.
Next week is Kontaka-chan’s birthday!
Not sure why this one is giving me so much trouble…
- の, no
- 誕生日, tanjoubi, birthday
- 前に, maeni, before
- なる, naru, to become / to come
- と, to
- 送(る), oku(ru), to send,
- ぼっち, bocchi, name of the character in the picture
- の, no
“A message sent by Bocchi before a friend’s birthday”
I know the られ form but られてくる form not so much.
- ントカちゃん, sotoka-chan, sotoka is another character in the show
- の, no
- 誕生日, tanjoubi, birthday
- だよー!, dayoo!
“Next week is Sotoka-chan’s birthday you know!”
I don’t know why the translation struggled with the names so much especially in the last one. The first one, deeple came out with “A message by a lonely person” which makes sense because she named after being a loner.
I’ll always be impressed by your translations 😄
