        I used to use it to watch Youtube when there was some performance issue doing it in the browser. It was the netbook days

            They were fun and frustrating in equal measure. Also some were so underpowered and had limited disk space (early SSDs on some of them) that at least few of the early netbooks came with Linux. Interesting times, nowadays (for a decade or something hah) tablets and “ultralight” laptops have replaced netbooks

        Its worth it to try, it’s much faster than vlc and highly configurable.

      I mean the no-gui all keybinds thing is obviously for a niche market, a lot of people won’t like that

        There’s plenty of ways to add more functionality with user scripts, also lots of front ends to pick from.

      its for windows so not for me
      but others might have fun with it as it seems to have a lot of options according to wikipedia
