I appreciate your continued patience. Today I applied a few additional fixes, including to nginx, which were contributing to the error 500’s. The good news is that the only errors I see in the kbin app logs are related to inbound post federation from lemmy-based instances. I am sure there are many more issues to, but I’m knocking them down one at a time.

Things are working so much better, Jerry! I was thinking of deleting my account several days ago but after trying Lemmy, I really prefer this better. Thanks for the fixes.

I’m glad. I need to implement some batch jobs to clean up broken image links proactively until I can sort out what’s going on in the kelvin code

technology@lemmy.world and the posts in it are all giving me 500 errors currently

Other communities on lemmy.world do not have that issue

At the time of this post, selecting all with Federation enabled on the web via Firefox Android, 500 errors all the time. Tried it at least 8 times. Also the same on Firefox iOS and safari, so not browser related.

Does not appear to throw the 500 on Windows With Firefox or with Edge.

Random Threads are throwing 500’s now on Windows with both Edge and FF. 500 -https://fedia.io/m/RedditMigration@kbin.social/t/55491/It-was-fun-while-it-lastedhttps://fedia.io/m/lotrmemes@midwest.social/t/55708/When-Baconreader-shuts-down-today-and-I-lose-the-only

@jerry y I do not envy you having to hunt this down.

Hope that helps track the bugs.

    Thanks for the continued assistance!

I experience less (fewer?) 500 errors overall now. My profile now no longer does that thing at random anywhere, least. Stuff from lemmy.world tends to 500 more often, as does (for some weird reason) going to page 2 of any search result, but those are things I can def live with at the moment, I have no hurries.
