Betteridge's law of headlines says the answer is No, but I'm really hoping for a Yes as Hulu preps us for brand new Futurama, coming this July. While The Simpsons' absurdly long run continues -- 34 seasons and at least...
I don’t think anything will recapture the magic of the original run. That being said, all the revivals have been good to great. There are some excellent episodes in the revival seasons. I have a deep attachment to these characters, and if they can achieve at least what they did last time I’ll be more than happy.
Actually, I don’t like the first two seasons much. And I know I’m in the minority for that. But I also have a very deep attachment to those characters.
I love the early seasons, but there are definitely some dud episodes among them. Better hit-to-miss ratio than later seasons, but some big misses nonetheless.
I think by the end of season 2 they were on a roll that did not end until the original run closed out. I really like most of the first 2 seasons overall, better than most other shows out there.
