It’s exactly the result of the blue no matter who attitude: democrats got their blue no matter who base out, but anyone that only goes out to vote when they actively like a candidate stayed home, because democrats didn’t offer them anything besides orange man bad (which is true, Trump is a fascist, but normal voters don’t respond to this kind of messaging).

Maybe next time run someone popular that speaks to traditional non-voters too, and force the vote blue no matter who people to vote for them instead.
