    It’s actually:

    1. US 42.8 bn

    2. Germany 7.5 bn

    3. UK 6.6 bn

    4. EU Institutions 5.6 bn

    5. Poland 3 bn

(This list is military aid only.)

Getting a bit tired of the Poland strong propaganda.

Do you also believe a flat tax is fair?

Country, Spend, GDP, % of GDP

      Poland, 3, 679.4, 0.44%

      US, 42.8, 23320, 0.18%

      Germany, 7.5, 4260, 0.18%

      UK, 6.6, 3131, 0.21%

Were doing what we can. I wouldn’t call it propaganda. Please also consider each country GDP. Everyone have limited resources. Poland GDP is 5 times smaller than Germany or Japan and 36 times smaller than US

Well it is when the piss party is trying to convince everyone that Poland is the only country in the EU really helping, especially vs Germany.

      This is military aid only.

Yes, it literally says “Military aid” at the top

Edited my comment to clarify that I meant my list. Overall aid would look different US > EU > UK > Germany > Japan > Canada > Poland

It’s an old comic dude. Also you’re missing the joke as well as any historical context.

Poland has been through the wringer for centuries and even ceased existing for a while. Having some issues and hating Russia are some of the least unlikely results.

It probably swings back toward the scenario depicted if you divide the amount given by the total amount that those countries have available to give, but yeah, good to keep real figures in mind while we have our fun.

    Old joke.

Reporter is interviewing a Polish general. "If Poland were to be attacked by Germany and Russia at the same time, which army would you go after first.?’

    ‘The Germans.’

    ‘Why?’

    ‘Business before pleasure.’

      A classic. Along with:

A Polish man finds a genie in a lamp, who gives him three wishes. The Polish man thinks, then says, “I wish the Mongols would pillage their way into Poland, and then go back home to Mongolia.” The genie, confused, complies, and Poland is ravaged by the Mongol hordes.

“Again.” the Polish man says. Dutifully, the genie obeys, sending the Mongols across the steppe to pillage Poland again.

      “Again!” the Polish man cries.

The genie complies, but at long last, cannot hold his tongue. “You could have had anything!” the genie says, “Why wish for the Mongols to pillage your own country?”

The Polish man smiles and taps his head. “Ah, but to get to Poland and back to Mongolia, they have to pillage their way through Russia twice.”

When “the old stuff we were gonna just sell on eBay” tops the enemy’s “top of the most corrupt line in the world” then that’s really a misleading statement.

The amazing part is how the Ukrainian front lines use the old stuff to such great effect. Imagine if they had new stuff like ATACMs?

I love how Russia public military success plan involves the US getting bored of funneling money to defense contractors without any US or US contractor loss of life.

    Good luck with that.

I’d love “America First”, if it was about giving aid to all the hungry homeless Americans instead of paying other nations to blow shit up or to fufill a religious prophecy…

Sadly it’s just a Racist Dogwhistle

Then you are massively uniformed and need to read a history book or shut up.

Not opposing Putin would cost FAR more in the long term.

          Also…

Most of the equipment is obsolete or excess stock.

A lot of the financial aid is under the lend lease program meaning Ukraine has to pay a percentage back.

The US subsides the oil industry to the tune of $20 billion a year, so how about you start there.

I’m not big on war but Putin needs to be stopped and while it is costing us in the west some money. It’s costing Ukrainians their lives.

So show a little fucking gratitude.

I just want single payer healthcare

That would cost less than what is spent now. So why pretend it is blocked by unrelated topics?
