It’s hard to see democracy surviving if elected leaders and corporate leaders feel they might be shot at any point. And that’s why we have to actually get our laws working again.
Ok, how about this: keep killing CEOs and anyone else involved in enforcing inequality in our society until they get the laws working again.
There have been plenty of people talking about the risk of inequality for decades, and nothing has been done to slow the enslavement of the population.
It looks to me like the time for talk has passed. The only question is if the 0.01% can bring themselves to provide enough of a token concession to prevent their complete destruction.
Never has it been more obvious how brazenly the media protects the establishment. Even in stories like this favoring reform they manage to frame it from the perspective of the elite.
If 2025 is the year of retribution, it’s better to start early.

There will be no forthcoming legislation to shore up a century of regulatory capture. This government was built for elite landowners all the way back to Jefferson. The author glosses over it (even mentioning the fact that Jefferson saw the eventuality of a revolt) but that’s (IMO) a feature not a bug.
