Is this project free and open source? If not, will it be in the future? If so, could the source code be publicly released on Github or Gitlab at some point? Finally, do you have plans to support lemmy?

Not sure where it will be available, I believe github is the plan for @hariette, simply because that’s where issue reports during beta testing will be reported and it would make sense to have everything in one place.

Multiple announcements have stated that Lemmy support is in the pipeline, slated for next month.
As to the first question, if I had to guess, the answer is probably no. Just judging by the fact that they haven’t posted a public repository yet.
