I was in my 8th grade Science classroom getting ready for the kids, half watching the morning news. When the first plane hit the first tower I ran out to the hall to tell the other teachers what had happened and a couple of them had an “Ok, what’s the joke?” look. We went back into my room just in time for the second hit.
