I was always taught the pages were taken and altered, by a mob so when Joseph retranslated they could show he was wrong.

Then I watched South Park (lol) and they just said that Lucy Harris just kept them to see if Joseph could re-translate the pages.

Are there any good sources I can look at to do some good research both in church and out of church?
