Sarah was out at the thrift store again today and picked up a vintage Victoria Secret sweater just like one she had when she was in high school. She regrets donating it. This woman’s attachment to things from her childhood is really strange to me. Has she mentioned anymore intensive therapy sessions? She should talk about why she needs all these things surrounding her - the childhood toys and clothes - but I doubt she’s continued. She did say it was exhausting!

Okay - when she was in HIGH SCHOOL she owned VS stuff? First off, VS was only available in the US at that time (not that it matters, but I’m in a mood today LOL) Secondly, VS was ELIETE at that time. Like the most expensive place to buy sexy, expensive bras. Why was she shopping there as a teenager? Third, she was heavy into the church at that time and her mother was VERY uppity about being “proper”. There is no way they were letting their teenager buy stuff from VS Also, way to support a business that has been accused of SA, harassment, misogyny, bullying and their connection to Jeffrey Epstein “Women supporting women”, am I right?

My brain is too tired to do math right now but if she was in highschool in the early 00s then VS shipped to Canada if you ordered online during that time. I’m not saying that she’s not lying because she probably is for the sake of a stupid story, I’m just saying VS was accessible to Canadians if we ordered it. I remember because it was one of the few places in the US that did ship to Canada at that time and I took advantage of that with my first credit card in my early 20s.

Same. I ordered some cleavage baring bar-star “goin out” tops from their clothing catalog in 2003.

THE CAPTION!! Can you imagine being 35 writing about Victoria Secret “I don’t need you or your runway”. She’s such a cry baby. All women deserve wings??? Most women don’t care or think about this garbage. We aren’t offended by a show that’s designed to entertain. We don’t imagine ourselves on the VS catwalk and then get mad when the modelling agency in Guelph rejects us and dashes our hopes.

This is what I was coming to say. The way she (and her daughter) think there was a chance of being a VS angel but lost out because of the 'normal body" thing is hilarious. Also, and I don’t mean this in any sort of insulting way, but that isn’t a “normal” body. That is the body of someone who had some sort of weightloss surgery, not the sort of average everywoman kind of body one usually thinks of when hearing “normal” (although I HATE that term too, I thought we were past calling certain aspects of humanity “normal”).
