It’s the one thing I miss from Reddit.
Edit: I’m on Android.
Whatever the devs can do now is only provide a local only solution if possible, because there is no support for it in serverside. So whatever u save, they will not be synced.
There is an open issue ticket in lemmy’s main github repo and are actually happening quite lot of conversations on how to implement it
This is the Lemmy issue for multi communities:
I feel that’s even more important to have now, to organize interests, since we subscribe to multiples of the same kind of communities.
Bean (iOS, in TestFlight right now).
For $30 ($50 after the first week).
People were upset with Sync pricing…
Lemma also has a button for it, but it’s the very first build and there are many things quite broken. Including that button ^^
Bean is the only one I’ve seen so far on iOS.
I agree I miss this feature a lot. I would love to see it here.
I’m going to take a stab at it for the next update of Summit for Lemmy. Current update being worked on adds mod actions. I’ll look into multi community after that update.
Awesome!
Even when I would want this right away I think the best option is to wait for Lemmy to add it to their backend, so the apps can work with it and not split resources between all these talented people… Unless it’s something easily doable ofc.
There is Firefox add-on Mullem - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mullem
No idea if it works on firefox android.Thanks. No unfortunately it doesn’t.
If you use Firefox Beta or Nightly, you can try adding it from a custom addon list https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2020/09/29/expanded-extension-support-in-firefox-for-android-nightly/
Wow I didn’t know you could do that!
…
Sync is excellent but doesn’t support this yet.
