Using my advanced 9th grade biology Latin education, I can tell you that pyro means fire or heat and lysis means to break apart or split. I therefore think this commenter is saying under the right heat conditions the long chains of plastics will break down into smaller, more useful compounds
That sounds interesting. I’m not super familiar with it. Do you just melt down certain kinds of plastics?
