I’m trying to start one (a p2p project, not a community for p2p projects in general) – I’ve now decided after looking for a while at Holepunch + IPFS to try to make a new p2p technology to base this on, so the whole quest may become this specific p2p technology. But, if you’re interested in this general topic feel free to come take a look. The code is very rudimentary still but I’m planning to post what I’ve got after a few more days of work on it.
(I bring this up because I was also alarmed by the high amount of cryptocurrencies involved with some of the other projects I looked at)
