I only use reddit for hobbies but lately it’s started recommending me posts from the Asmongold subreddit for some cursed reason, and they’re all just bitching and whining about the SJWs and their NARRATIVE and how they don’t care about HISTORICAL ACCURACY and how the next game will have you play as a DISABLED BLACK TRANS WOMAN and they’re doing FORCED DIVERSITY and blah blah fuckin blah. It’s seriously like 2015 never ended in there, I’m reading all the exact same stupid gotcha points I thought maybe had some substance as a dumb 20 year old who’s youtube recommends were full of Sargon.
Insane to complain about historical accuracy with Assassin’s Creed, like Yasuke (an acutal historical figure) is woke nonsense but the eternal war between the Assasins and the Templars (and aliens I think) is fine.
the only weird thing about him being a player character is that usually the assassin is a made up person who meets actual historical figures, but we know dick fuckall about him so he’s a blank enough slate for their purposes.
