I’ve only participated in the public beta once…during Covid. I would love to, but I’m an IT manager and need the phone for real work.
Doesn’t mean that I don’t have that “ itch” though. 😂

I’ve always used developer or public betas and never had an issue with any of my work apps.
Yes and it’s very stable. I don’t know how much tolerance you may have for issues, but iOS 17 is in its final stages so it’s very stable now.
