        I do find it a bit weird racist, angry teenage boys obviously lying on the internet gets more LESS flack than dispossessed, sad, teenage girls obviously lying on the internet does.

        Edit: I somehow typed the exact opposite of what I was trying to say

          The difference is all green texts are fake, it’s assumed to be fake and the point is just to have a funny story. It’s basically like a creative writing exercise done by anonymous users. Whereas the “that happened” types of stories that tend to get panned are obvious lies by a public account where the goal is to deceive people into thinking the poster is a good person.

          Honestly I’ve seen the “that happened” variety done more by men than women.
