Mexico: (which really should be Guatemala and other Central American countries where people are migrating from) deportations have scale UP under Biden.
Trans people: Biden’s admin has done nothing about trans people being persecuted.
    Feminists: lol
    Ukraine: lol
LGBTQ: Same issue as trans people, it’s all words and no action against persecution.
BLM: Police budgets have grown nationwide since the George Floyd protests.
    Muslims: https://www.aljazeera.com/program/newsfeed/2024/1/31/two-women-wearing-hijabs-denied-entry-to-democratic-campaign-event
Intersex and nonbinary: ??? feels like the meme only has this group to pad.

Biden’s admin has done nothing about trans people being persecuted.

If you’ll notice, for the last 3+ years the only time the Biden admin recognizes trans people it’s either Biden reading some prepared words or whoever runs his twitter account says something very mildly supportive. Nothing ever off the cuff, much less any policies that actually protect trans people.

Even disregarding all the bullshit about every other group that Biden is killing just as much as Trump: Pakistan? Didn’t the coup happen under Biden?

Do they think the trolley problem has a solved, obvious answer?

    Implies four things

    1. They believe there’s a hierarchy of marginalized people

    2. They’re willing to sacrifice specific groups of people for poltical expediency

    3. Genocide is permissible as long as only certain peoples are targeted at a time

    4. The genocide of other groups are permissible as long as the hierarchy of oppressed people is acknowledged

      I’d add

      1. The idea you actualy have the power to stop this chain of events all together is discarded immediately. This genocide is a natural phenomenon akin to a unstoppable train which nothing can be done about it except minimizing the damage.

I don’t even think you need to believe in hierarchy of marginalized people, all you need is to not want to see killing happen at home because it’s icky up close and all of a sudden it makes a lot of sense.

Maybe I’m wrong but I came to this conclusion because it seems people don’t care (or at least don’t care as strongly) if LGBTQ+ people are killed in oversees conflicts, but care a lot about the idea it might happen in their country.

That misses the fact that as genocide is normalized overseas abuse of the corresponding minority at home is also normalized; historical examples include the treatment of Japanese Americans, the explosion of Islamophobia as a result of the war on terror and recently the murders of Arab Americans and that assault on camera of a student activist by a tenured professor

No, there is absolutely a hierarchy in these people’s minds and it shifts depending on which minority group and their corresponding international counterparts are in disfavor by will of the ruling class

These people also reveal their cynical intentions thru their omissions of Biden’s horrific and disastrous polices that target the minorities they pretend to care about; record deportations, record police funding, prosecution of activist groups, and the refusal to even acknowledge let alone act against the unprecedented conservative anti-LGBTQ+ hate campaign of the last three years

Yeah, I think I definitely agree with what you’ve said.

I still assert that people seem to care more about the risk of LGBTQ+ people being killed “close to home” versus them actually being killed in foreign conflicts; however I suspect the reason is probably because the ones “close to home” are white.

I didn’t know where that “First they came for…” quote was from, but I feel like it’s been twisted. Definitely feels like an anti-fascist message to me.

Oh you said they’re quoting it and still doing it. Yeah that’s peak fucking lib.

Why is it so fucking hard for these people to have their “come to Jesus” moment? Motherfucker look at the shit you are saying! It’s literally just the “First they came…” poem all over again.

It’s really nice we’re not a part of the world and we don’t have to worry about the atrocities that happen in our name. I don’t want to know people who would like this post.

Yeah I’m sure all the women and LGBTQ+ Palestinians in Gaza appreciate having bombs dropped on them.
I’m sure queer folk in countries the US is bombing appreciate having their public transport, docks and airports destroyed, or the extra military patrols that make it even more difficult to move about. I guess queer folk from anti-LGBTQ countries are expected to just teleport out.

I hate how they are trying so hard to make trump out to be the “default” win that can only be stopped by active votes for biden, obviously there is worse shit going on but this “strategy” they are all collectively doing to try and guilt people into voting biden is making me lose it. They’ve been hammering it home so hard and completely twisted their perspective they no longer see any moral ground anywhere that isn’t simping for biden. And they have obviously worked themselves up like this so they can place blame at the feet of anyone but biden if trump wins. The shitstorm of rage directed ENTIRELY at third partys and non voters if trump wins is going to be ridiculous, as though there wasn’t 50% of americans that directly plan on voting for the fucker.

Voting third party is not support for trump in any way

Not voting is not support for trump in any way.

Voting for someone who doesn’t win is not a “wasted” vote

No voting strategy, including reacting to the spoiler effect, implies a moral choice.

If a vote is a choice no one is obligated to vote at all, no matter how mad that makes libs

I just need to keep repeating that stuff to myself for my sanity…

We are dealing with people so neck-deep into Hitlerian moral calculus where they’ve decided that genocide is acceptable in return for (illusory) personal security. Go ahead and vote for 99% Hitler you fucks, see you on the same train they’ll put us all on to the camps. We’ll have plenty of time then to entertain your stories of masterful practicality.
