    People able to tune out politics are incredibly privileged to not have to worry about how fascist politics might screw up their lives.

    So where on earth is it “easy to tune out politics”? Is rent affordable there?

    They should just make it illegal to block or attempt to ignore political ads. Project them directly onto the inside of everyone’s eyeballs while they sleep. Drive cars around blasting political ads and replace the muzak in grocery stores with them.

    After all, if it’s so important and every voter has a responsibility to do it, then we should make them see all of it, no matter how bad, annoying, or depressing it all is. Enjoying your life is not something a responsible citizen does.

    The volunteers at the party all installed the app, and then were prompted to give it access to their address books.

    Also, responsible citizens don’t care that they’re bothering their friends. There is nothing more important than hearing about politics, so be sure to put your whole address book on blast.
