Hi. In today’s episode, we look at the false narrative surrounding police “defunding” and crime, and investigate what cops have really been up to since the s…
They do present information in an entertainment format, but I don’t see that as a bad thing. Cody & Katy do long and deep dives on subjects that might seem rather dry without the jokes and comments interspersed throughout. I think this makes it more, not less, accessible. The important thing to me is that their information is well-sourced and cited, and it is, (links and sources are available under each youtube video.)
I feel like we could use someone to fill the void left by Daily Show era Jon Stewart, as his tone and demeanor has changed a lot in his new show. He seems to be doing more of a serious presentation these days based on what I’ve seen of The Problem with Jon Stewart.

When you are making fun of the “other side”, whether left or right, it won’t open their eyes and ears to a counterpoint. It gets instantly dismissed. It’s wasted effort IMHO. I want people to listen to all this research and insight.
That’s the crux of my issue with this approach.
