A federated internet is forming. It’s built on open protocols like ActivityPub & connects services like Mastodon, Threads, Pixelfed, Tumblr, Wordpress and more into a connected network known as the fediverse. And everyone from tech enthusiasts to Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey seem to want in.

        I suppose…

You seem very… certain. And also, eager to defend the intentions of a multi billion dollar corporation.

i keep asking for technical information about their actions, and i get:

’ they are a big evil corporation, you dont need details, just be angry’

There won’t be technical evidence until after the fact.

However, there is plenty of reason not to trust the intentions of the company that invented the tracking pixel and has attempted to control internet access for entire countries via zero-rating.

People don’t need to “be angry”, as that is a useless emotional response to the actions of a corporation. People do need to be wary, and extend no trust to profit mongers and data aggregators.
