Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi was shocked to learn how much it costs to take a three-mile ride in New York City using his company's app.

I don’t want to excuse the pricing, but that was for a ride in Manhattan. The guy was probably stuck in traffic for an hour. Not sure why anyone would take an uber/taxi when the subway is right there.
