4·2 days agoCertainly things can be open to abuse, and different regulatory systems have different loop holes. However I have seen examples where it’s been a good thing.
I just can’t remember which country I’m in sometimes.
Did you actually watch it, or just read the comments?
The reason I said a lot of people need to watch it is because it details the rise of fascism. The mistakes that are made and the signpost on the way. That’s what people need to understand.
Greek sailors are nutters
A lot of people need to watch that. Sadly I think the questioning title just lets people say “yes it is” / “no it isn’t” and skip past.
That’s what I almost did.

7·2 days agoThe decision is probably as much about it being the most generation they have on a non-TSMC process. TSMC is totally maxed out. There’s no capacity left after Apple, Nvidia and AMD. If Nvidia want to start making anything extra it has to be something made elsewhere.

37·2 days agoWhich is why “Not for profit” organisations are such a good thing. They are harder to get going but because they are not investment vehicles in the same way you don’t have CEOs installed just to maximise share value. Decisions are focused on what the company needs to perform its mission.

5·3 days agoIt’s a generic term for an open hole between two spaces where there should be a wall. The two spaces might include “outside”, but could be two internal spaces (e.g. between the intestine and abdominal cavity)

6·3 days agoIt’s never lupus.
It’s 7.5% over the last 12 months, and biomass is not fossil fuels. I agree shipping it in is silly, but the carbon it releases during burning is carbon captured in recent years, not millions of years ago. That matters.
…but even if you take it over the other side of the line…it 35% instead of 28%. It also doesn’t change the french figure.
It’s an element everywhere, but here in the UK just 28% of electricity was generated from fossil fuels in the last year. Next door, in France it’s 3%. That’s just two places I happen to be familiar with.
Fossil fuels are not powering my car. It’s nuclear, wind and solar powered.
