6·11 months agoEh, I think she has a point about the wattage limitation. I can see an acceleration and speed based restriction as being safe, but limiting wattage seems like an arbitrary standard.

1·1 year agoCorrect me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this ridiculously easy to do because of the open record of the Blockchain? Exchanges that operate in the USA are already required to retain customer data. I’m not sure why this regulation even needs to be a thing.

35·2 years agoSaw it over the weekend and it was WAY more sophisticated than I was expecting, even with the director’s track record. Would definitely recommend.
I don’t think I agree with that. This seems to be a pretty clear case of unintended consequences of a colonial-era policies that were never properly dealt with. In this case, I’m not sure the size of the state has much to do with it.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•/r/NonCredibleDefense recieves automated notice from the admins to remove its NSFW designation, or else. Mods respond by messaging the admins a bunch of death and porn.
1·2 years agoIn fairness to r/ncd, they used those posts as examples of why the switch to a NSFW community was not aimed at denying Reddit as revenue, but a reflection of the often graphic nature of the posts in a s community all about active conflict.

3·2 years ago- I think that’s a great idea. If nothing else it should encourage people to engage more with the community.
- I plan to mostly spend my time here, as this instance is focused on security and that’s where i want to spend my time. I may subscribe elsewhere but i plan for this to be home base.
- I think it could be, if enough people use it and provide content. Content is king.
- I really want this to work! I would love to see federated services be able to reach a decent level of adoption.

Eh. We get it. Stop blaming Binningtom for the loss though.
