With allies like Hungary, who needs enemies?
100%, truly shocking that they’re still there. Literally feeding free content for the profit of the wealthiest man on earth who happens to be a nazi.
Europe should do the same actually but for opposite reasons.

The thing is, we’re in a common market, EU-wide recognizable seals are always better. European brands already use the B corp one, so there’s definitely a market for it.

I already replaced quite a few of these sites and apps. I still waste lots of time here on the fediverse though 😅
Vivaldi for browser, Ecosia for search engine and AI, newspapers apps instead of Google news suggestions and Lemmy.

In a way the best is to have strong laws that ensure EU companies have a high degree of social rights… but, it would still be cool to award outstanding companies.

Portuguese are no strangers to accidentally looking like a Renaissance painting while saving sheep. This photo went viral during the fires of 2022 in the same district of Leiria.

Nobody would guess there’s drinkable water on taos in this country.

All to say, you’re right. America is being raped by its president. But I hold hope that is not unfounded that this will not go unpunished. Even if it does take years…
I hold the same hope. My comments around here are not intended to be discouraging, but provocative, I’m sure the “American freedom” stills rings bells within most US citizens. So I do hope they’ll do something to get it back.
The current framework however does seem too weak, the rich dudes own the country.

I didn’t mean secondary in an offensive way. It’s just a fact, it’s not LA, NY, SF, Chicago or DC. It’s a city with very little international recognition, it’s probably more significant than what I assume, but from my European POV it seems a city way out of the main US metropolis.
I do wish it inspires more people around the US. But again, from what and where I see, it’s seems like the US is going into a real dictatorship with very little resistance, be it the opposition party, the courts, the media or the man on the street.

Para quem estiver à procura de outra plataforma e uma que não seja dos EUA, tem aqui uma alternativa norueguesa: https://blogs.vivaldi.net/

So some people in a secondary city of the US have been protesting? Great, but that only proves the point. At least 2 of those people were murdered in the meantime by a government militia that faces no trial about it.

So everything in this post is fake news, shocking coming from a Twitter printscreen /s.

Great effort! And the website looks smooth :)
Good luck with your business 💪🏻

I thought Ikea was the European standard for that

Which kind of content? I live in Europe and I’m constantly encountering racist, sexist or violent content. What else could they offer?

For people curious about the play, the original cast/company does often international performances, it’s the biggest Portuguese theater success in decades. They’ll be in September at the National Theater in London.

Theater is niche, but I wouldn’t say is for old people. Again in general students pay less and even get free tickets at universities often. At least when I was one. Paying a full ticket as a grown up is much harder 😅
The dates are not clear on the article, but it’s possible that the birth was even pre Trump… the couple was touring, they’re musicians.
