1·3 months agoGlobal food production is difficult. That said when one is doing things that could influence millions to billions of people they most definitely have the finances to ensure it’s a good idea. Sidebar, it’s actually kinda insane we can feed 8 billion people (arguably much more given less waste) in the first place. It is an absolute modern marvel and crowning achievement of science that it is even physically possible to begin with. I think we often overlook what is essentially magic at any other point in human history that we now consider mundane.
Rachel Carson’s silent spring wasn’t a manual, with great scientific power comes (or at least should come) great responsibility.
So just Palestine and not the other genocides currently that get essentially zero attention or care like their lives don’t matter?

Also maybe sugar and cinnamon on tortilla chips with peanut butter and a chocolate drizzle would be good. Just toast the chips to heat them and toss in some brown sugar and cinnamon.
