I think that question is best posed to the Joint Photographic Experts Group, better known as “jay-fegg”.
(For the record, I’m in camp “G as in Graphic”, but it’s still true that an acronym’s source words don’t dictate the pronunciation.)

4·2 days agoI’m not from the US, but creamer isn’t typically milk, right? It’s some kind of protein-heavy vegetable fat?
I guess the author realized after posting that having the MAGA fish be on the right made more sense?
Slightly older, more poetic version by author Dan Sheehan:

This is a nice anecdote, and it’s meaningful and valuable in its own right, but it’s not Vonnegut.
The source seems to be this 2020 Tumblr post, where the OP text is someone’s own anecdote following a Kurt Vonnegut extract. I guess someone’s read the post and got confused as to where his bit ends.

Most people are robust. If a man puts his hand on a woman’s bottom, any woman worth her salt can deal with it. It’s communication. Can’t we be friendly?

41·13 days agoIt was a bullfrog tadpole with a probable hormone imbalance. Its name was Goliath.

Honestly looks like it, since it’s not been inked! There’s someone who sneaks into the monastery at night and adds ducks to all their new manuscripts.
Sure, but since the monster was assembled from the cadavers of several people, it would be fitting if he carried their names too, so a septuple-barreled name is the obvious choice.

2·15 days agoYus indeed. Skyrim’s engine is obviously not the cutting edge of game tech (nor was it at launch, honestly) but it still represents a huge leap forward in terms of what’s possible to do with a game – not to mention the wider horizons in terms of modding and customization.

I’m just grateful they didn’t go with the Gall-Peters, which often seems to be the favorite alternative, but always feels to me like it distorts almost every country.
