Counterpoint: bonobos. Also, as far as I know orangutans seem to be generally pretty chill dudes, nothing like chimpanzees.
Don"t mind if I do!

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•Valve is stopping production of LCD Steam Deck models, once sold out they will be gone forever
1·30 days agoWell, it seems to be a huge improvement over the LCD screen on the OG Switch so there’s that. Besides, an OLED hardware revision isn’t a given by any means, it’s just speculation.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•Valve is stopping production of LCD Steam Deck models, once sold out they will be gone forever
14·30 days agoBecause it’s cheaper to make and allows them to release an OLED version at a premium later.
For what’s worth, I was born and raised in a country where toilet paper is usually all you have to work with and even I don’t think that’s very hygienic.
What the hell, this is exactly how I feel. I don’t have a partner though so I don’t know how I’d behave in this case. I hope that, if I ever find someone, I can at least trust them enough to not question the sincerity of their compliments.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Steam Replay is live and notes only 14% "of playtime spent by all Steam users" was for 2025 releases
81·1 month agoHades II, Silksong, Blue Prince, Ball x Pit, Mandragora, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, Citizen Sleeper 2, Dispatch, Absolum, Megabonk, Constance, Wheel World, Cloverpit, that’s only a fraction of this year’s releases and I’m not even counting the more ambitious titles like The Alters and Expedition 33. Indie fans have been eating good for sure.

Accidental Renaissance@lemmy.blahaj.zone•The Upsetting State of AffairsEnglish
19·1 month agoOh, this happened near me. Some strong winds a couple of days ago tipped it over. The greek temple-looking thing in the background belongs to a (in)famous chain store from Southern Brazil and most of their units have a statue just like this one on the parking lot. I assume they’re there because its owner (“Havan’s bald old man”, as he’s widely known) is very conservative and idolizes the US, which probably helps explain the tackiness in display here.
Damn. I’m happy for them.

Why? SteamOS is based on Arch, it belongs here. I think a ship should probably be something like Android.
