It’s 50k for the entire distribution, you are correct: the money I am placing here is for retirement, not to be taking out unless from my HYSA.

For me I had so much issue actually making an account, I almost gave up. I think it is cool how Lemmy looks, very simple and very direct, but it does need a bit of more user experience.

Yes cartels (which are funded by the US) do have a big influence in Mexico, but no MORENA isn’t friendly to the drug cartel.
They understand that going into blood battles against them doesn’t improve it. ( which happened in previous governments) Instead they are targeting the root cause like:
- taking 11 million Mexicans out of poverty,
- increased salaries
- education grants
- infrastructure, etc.
their actual slogan is: “abrazos no balazos” which means hugs instead of bullets.
They understand that most don’t joins cartels out of fun, but need.

He’s not going for cartels, the US supplies cartels with weapons and gives drugs to the US. That’s their cash cow!
