Exactly, the whole winner take all deal means not a single presidential vote I have made ever meant anything. The majority of electoral votes in my state were for the other party. So my preferred parties electoral votes won magically become the other parties. If they forced states to split electoral votes places like Texas and California would have a much different impact on elections.

This reminds me of seeing Bethesda face skins for games like Morrowind. Where the whole skin for the head is flattened into one 2d image. Its like the powers that be messed up and didn’t stretch the 2d image right on them.

It doesn’t. Cracking programs don’t use the user login form repeatedly. They use the same algorithm that creates the publicly encoded password to generate encoded passwords and keep going until they have a match. Besides getting the encoded password and salt, everything is done offline.

This just creates a really bad user experience.
