  • HTML is the basic language that describes the layout of your webpage, the text, etc.

CSS is for the looks of everything.

JavaScript lets you have interactive things on the website.

TypeScript is JavaScript with extra features for the developers, but it compiles down to JavaScript still.

Python is a scripting language that you can use to create a webserver. You can also do that with JavaScript. There are also ways to make Python run in the browser but it’s still in its infancy tbh.

Edit: Hence, I would suggest to first learn to make some static websites with HTML and CSS and later JavaScript. Those are basics that you will need to know, even if you use other frameworks, i.e., I would not recommend looking into React or Python (Flask) etc. until much later, because they all presume that you already know HTML+CSS+JS. Hit me up if you have any questions or need some assistance.

  • All good. I do know the difference very well, but I generally refuse to use the term “AI” and abbreviations more specific to image generation are not as well-known, not to mention there are lots of different approaches to it, too. I guess you could group them under NN or DL, but I digress. I opted for LLM because nowadays people don’t really interface with the image generation models directly anymore, but go through an LLM chat app, which then uses a different model in the background. Perhaps I should’ve used the word slop instead. Oh well.

That is not what I suggested. I compared your logical fallacy to a more extreme example in hopes that you notice how short-sighted your argument was.

To remind you, your comment implied “If I can’t use <swear word>, how else will I refer to <group of people>?”.

There are plenty of other words you can choose from both in place of the r-slur and the n-slur. Arguing that this in any way limits your vocabulary is incredibly narrow-minded.
