Lower amount per donor suggests Lewis had the grassroots support.
Yup.
Who are the “big” donors pushing up the average of the other contenders?
No idea. Maybe union donors in the case of Rob.

To be clear, there’s a difference in terminology of profit in economic context vs colloquial. When they say profit / non-profit, non-profit doesn’t mean that people don’t make money for their work. Rather it refers to what’s done with the extra money made above the costs of the firm, after it’s paid its employees and officers. Is it given to the firm’s shareholders, is it reinvested into the firm, are prices reduced to have less excess the next quarter, etc.

I guess they’ll have to board and kidnap those tankers then.

Holy Toledo! Avi has lower avg donation than Rob, wow.
Jagmeet raised 920K during his leadership campaign with higher avg per member too.

A few bombs ought to help with that.

Proton AG is owned by the Proton Foundation which is a non-profit.
Wait what happened with systemd?
E: Thanks both!

I also enjoy discussing attack vecrors with my wife.

Oh damn, I had no idea Peevski was sanctioned. Good to know.

This guy wants power. Political power!

Just checked some nums, it seems like Canadian electricity is 2-4x cheaper than UK’s. Also in Ontario where this article is about, only about 16% of the electricity is produced by fossil fuels. The rest is nuclear, hydro and renewables.

Maybe. I’m confused by what you’re saying. If perhaps you elaborate on why you believe this, I might be less confused.
E: Nevermind, I read your other comment. Not confused anymore. Thanks!

It’s the classic case of capitalists not understabding where their profits come from. If enough of us get laid off, we’ll remind them. Increasing exploitation only works to a point.

Is Bibi looking for an off-ramp? Cause it’s not up to him anymore. It’s up to Mojtaba now, or whoever else is left after they kill him. They can keep destroying the world economy with a few drones a day for many years to come.

I don’t think so. They can’t manufacture their weapons if the rest of the world stops exporting parts and material inputs to them. They are very far from self-reliant.

Yeah, you’re right but I’m pretty sure you’re not disagreeing with the overall statement. Especially in this context we’re talking about commuter rail that has trains running frequent as 15 minutes on relatively short distances with frequent stops. We’re currently burning diesel and brake pads for that.

I understand that but the Israelis say the same thing as they’re killing Lebanese, Palestinian, etc. journalists in the region.
Tbh, after observing everything that’s happened since the start of the war in Ukraine, then Gaza, now Iran, I’ve come around to the conclusion that all dehumanization is counterproductive. It leads to too many errors in judgement and excess death even on “our” side as we preclude ourselves from taking off-ramps.

I’ll watch in a bit.

Whenever you see a rocket landing next to a civilian and you feel regret that it missed, that’s a sign it’s time for some self-reflection. 😄
Do not cross the border unless you have to.
