My brother in christ, the professional social network is letting them use emojis.

I mean to be fair, we used to get those stupid hug emojis from our scheduler when she had to “apologetically” deny a day of PTO that was dead smack in the middle of a stretch of requested days off for a vacation. That emoji really just became a symbol of hatred in our department. 🤗🤮

I have to respond to client emails, and honestly it makes me feel better when they throw an emoji now and then.

Smiley faces aren’t professional because no one is smiling at work. The frownie face was a much more accurate choice which is why they didn’t reprimand him for that one. The more you know 🌠
