They claim to be ML for some reason, yet there are ultra shit on main getting 1800 upvotes, dunking on ultras is getting banned for suspicious reasons like “do not post links to reactionary subs” when there is no link just screen, and there are bunch of absolutely nolife gonzaloists out there who are spamming every thread about it with their bullshit.
EDIT: holy shit there are like at least 5 threads about Gonzalo on main and everywhere the same few people are spamming nonsense and calling people white supremacist and Fujimori supporters. Btw one of those gonzaloists also post a lot of centrist shit about Ukraine.
The Gonzalite shit is very disappointing. It’s so frustrating because it’s an interesting sub and good on many things but the mods are too light-handed and may be ideologically problematic (certainly their rule on left unity {even though it’s mostly some variety of Marxists or Marxist-leaning opportunists there}).
Once again proving having rules against sectarianism is bad actually and not a good sign for a sub supposedly for a podcast, supposedly run by ML’s for the purpose of deprogramming liberals.
The sub is definitely on the minds (and under the skin) of a lot of liberals too as I’ve seen it posted to both TMOR, AHS, and I think SRD not to mention constantly being posted on by “anti-tankie” subs.

Their takes on Ukraine are also imperfect, main line there seems to be “both sides bad” which is you know ignorant.
