My opinion is that she fully intended all of that, but without being consciously aware of it. She was the typical unscratched fascist back then, fully immersed in Tony Blair Thought. 100% believing all the racist, chauvinist, anti-semitic, patriarchal garbage the British Empire was built upon without the slightest bit of awareness.
