trying to build out a PKM system for my whole life. brain too full, brain not worky, shit getting fucky. need to be able to offload thoughts and ideas effectively into an easily managed pile that doesn’t require daily review.
also trying to settle on a few good starter projects for my proxmox cluster.
need to start looking for a new job.
GL on the job hunt. Layoff season is here and I can just feel the market being squeezed rn.
you’re not kidding. i just don’t know if i can stomach another 1% to be verbally abused by a middle manager who doesn’t know how MS Word works, or forced into wearing three hats for a 10% raise.
I’m back from vacation. Everything sucks already. A contractor literally said, nothing works and we’ve tried nothing. This was for a firewall upgrade, nothing groundbreaking.

In theory I was going to work on my CV website thing. But unfortunately everyone else in the house has the lurgy. So I’m mostly minding Mrs and Baby Swamptin. I’ll try to get to the CV website soon though. It’s been on my todo list a long while now.
Ah nice. I’d be interested in checking yours out when you have a v1 ready. I have a page on my site that is a resume but always looking for inspiration on how else to design it, etc…
So I’ve it partially up. The source for the layout was https://youtu.be/BXAeMICmUSQ?si=QlTaUlLkJFV3cPQN which means it’s built in streamlit* at the moment. I’m not sure how to get my hosting provider to host it just yet. I might move it to django at some stage, for the fun of it. I’ve got it up on the community host for now. Just need to fix the url.

*Streamlit appears to be targeted at data visualisation people and big data. So I’m definitely not using it for its intended purpose. 😂
There was someone who’s design I was planning on adapting. But I’ll hopefully remember to let you know when it’s done. I’d certainly appreciate feedback.

Been needing to take a step back from a project and focus on other things. Thinking while taking the break I’m going to focus on writing some scripts and take some old code and make it better. I wrote a bunch of tools for windows a while ago, but I think I can write them better now.
